Privacy Policy
DragonNet rclone collects no data, shares no data and stores no data. It only accesses its owner's own Google Drive.
What the app is
DragonNet rclone is a private backup tool used by its owner to back up his own files to his own Google Drive. It is not a public service and has no other users.
Google user data the app accesses
The app signs in only to its owner's own Google account and uses the Google Drive API to:
- upload encrypted backup copies of the owner's own files to his own Google Drive;
- list and read those backup copies, to check them and to restore them.
It does not access any other Google data, such as Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or Photos.
Collection, sharing and storage
- No collection. The app has no server, no analytics, no tracking and no telemetry. Nothing is sent to the app's maintainer or to anyone else.
- No sharing. No data is shared with, sold to or transferred to any third party.
- No storage by the app. Backup files go only to the owner's own Google Drive. The Google sign-in token stays on the owner's own computer and is used only to reach that Drive.
Google API Services User Data Policy
DragonNet rclone's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
The owner can revoke the app's access at any time from his Google Account, under Security → Third-party apps & services.
