Private backup tool
DragonNet rclone
DragonNet rclone is a private backup tool used by its owner to back up his own files to his own Google Drive. It is not a public service.
What it does
- Copies the owner's own files from his own computer to his own Google Drive, on a schedule.
- Encrypts the files on the owner's computer before they are uploaded.
- Reads those backup copies back from the same Google Drive when the owner needs to restore them.
Who can use it
Only its owner. There are no accounts to sign up for, no downloads and no other users. The tool is built on the open-source rclone program and runs only on the owner's own computer.
